Country retreat, Trossachs.

Home from home.

Following the purchase of my client’s holiday home in the Trossachs, I was asked to create an interior where they could escape the stress of the city and relax in the beautiful surroundings. 

I presented a scheme with a nod to the Scandi whilst still retaining the traditional elements of the 100-year-old house. 

New oak flooring was laid throughout and a stove took pride of place in the light-filled sitting room. Furniture was sourced from Italy and I added a pop of colour with the upholstery. 

The staircase was painted white to allow the bespoke stair runner to take pride of place in the entrance hallway.

My clients have described this holiday home as perfect escapism from everyday life, offering peace and tranquillity.
